Charles Putman

Charles Putman passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, at Erie Shores Healthcare, aged 84. He was the husband of the late Karen Putman (née Wigle, deceased 2012) and father of Charlene (late Don) Tulloch, Ted Putman (married to Michele Schaffhauser), Melissa (married to Alan) Patchett, and Trevor Putman. He was a grandfather to Megan (Kevin) Lunter's children—Madison (Brandon) Ossau, Tanya Patchett, the late Mitchell Patchett (2025), Liam Putman, Piper Putman, and Olivia Putman—and a great‑grandfather to Oliver Lunter, Blair Patchett, and Quinn Lunter. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Gertrude (née Anderson) Putman, and by his brother Larry (2021), he is survived by siblings Dennis, Roger, David, and Kay, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on August 22, 2026, at Kendrick Funeral Home in Kingsville, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. The family requests donations in his memory to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County rather than flowers.
