Yves Jean Claude Joseph Deslauriers

Yves Jean Claude Joseph Deslauriers passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 77. He was born on February 24, 1949, in Chatham, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, Jean Charles Deslauriers and Rachel (Larocque). He is survived by his wife Wendy (Coates); his children Michael (Saskia) of Riverview, NB and Anna McLean (Don) of Perth, ON; his grandchildren Brandon (Courtney), Skylor, Tryton, Evelyn and Ian McLean; his great‑grandchildren Emerson and William; his siblings Robert (Sue) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Guylaine Lawrence (Joe) of Spencerville, ON, Marc (Heather) of Brockville, ON and Nina of Prescott, ON; his in‑laws John Coates (Sharlene) and Julie McNamara (Myles) of Kingston; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and a reception from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the same location. The service will be live‑streamed. Donations in memory of Yves may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
