Robert Joseph 'Bob' (Retired Canada Post) MCMAHON,

Robert Joseph McMahon, known as Bob, died peacefully after a brief illness at Kingston General Hospital on August 22, 2026, at the age of 82. He was the devoted husband of Catherine (née Fitzgerald) for 55 years and the father of Mark (Marnie) and Carrie Grant (James). He was a grandfather to Cameron and Kylie Grant and is remembered by Mark's goddaughter Lylah Taylor. Bob was the son of the late Dennis McMahon and Madeline McMahon (née Reynolds) and the brother of Ann Ryan (Bill, predeceased), Eugene McMahon (Trish Fitzgerald), Bill McMahon (Kay), Theresa Burnett (Al), and the late Maurice McMahon. He was also brother‑in‑law to Terry Fitzgerald (Marlene), Mary McKeiver (Carl), Ann Welsh (Wayne, predeceased), Paul Fitzgerald, the late Bob Fitzgerald (Irma), and the late Kenny Fitzgerald, and was survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will follow at St. John the Baptist Church on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with interment at Highland Park Cemetery and a light luncheon thereafter in the Highland Park Reception Centre.
