Marilyn Bennett

Marilyn Bennett of Kingston, Ontario, passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born on November 7, 1933. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Clifford W. Bennett and Claire Penman Bennett, as well as her siblings, John "Jack" Bennett and Margaret Bennett Hitchcock. She also mourned the loss of her nephew Ian Hitchcock and her niece Christine Hitchcock Davies. Marilyn is survived by her nieces and nephews, Kathryn Hitchcock, Leigh Bennett Arundell, David Hitchcock, and John Bennett, along with her close friend, Col. Charles Simonds. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to AB Smith Homestead House or the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation to support palliative care.
