He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan; his parent, Dutch; his children, Sue (Dave), Linda, and Peter (Jaqui); his grandchildren, Krista, Sean (Claire), Michael (Janet), Ryan (Maria), and Brandon (Kristen); and his great-grandchildren, Keely and Mia. Karel's life was filled with connections and experiences that touched many, and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
