Jennifer Marie Banfai

Jennifer Marie Banfai passed away on September 22, 2026. She is survived by her husband Chris McKendy, her children Tommy and Lillian, her parents Michèle Macartney-Filgate and Geza Banfai (Catherine Karakatsanis), her brother Thomas Banfai (Kieran Daly), and her stepbrother Alexander Karakatsanis. Jennifer's life was filled with connections and experiences that left a lasting impression on those who knew her. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Centre, located at 50 Overlea Blvd, Toronto, ON M4H1B6. A celebration of life will follow on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, with a reception at 2:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pathways to Education Canada, an organization that Jennifer was passionate about.
