James Cole

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of James Cole, who resided in Kingston, Ontario. He departed this life on October 8, 2026, at the age of 63. James is survived by his beloved wife, Nicole Cole, and their children, James McKenzie and Phoenix Grace Cole. He is also remembered by his pets, Caibre, Scout, Luna, and Kotton. James was predeceased by his parents, James Cole and Joyce Cole of Parkhill, Ontario, and his father-in-law, Ray Godfrey of Sharbot Lake. He leaves behind his brothers, Ron Cole (Val) of Orangeville and John Cole of Parkhill, along with his brothers-in-law, Jason and Jeff Godfrey, and his mother-in-law, Dawn Godfrey. He is further survived by his nieces, Ronda of Orangeville and Robyn Cole of London, and his nephew, Josh Cole (Xiao Xiao) of Vancouver, BC. Visitation took place on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, located at 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M7H3. A memorial service followed at 1:00 PM, with a reception held at the same location at 2:00 PM. Flowers and condolences may be sent in memory of James.
