The family announces the passing of George Allen of Kingston, Ontario, on October 3, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on August 21, 1934, George was a cherished individual who created many meaningful relationships throughout his life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Merilyn Allen; his daughter, Kim Alderman; and his grandsons, Mathew Alderman and Ryan Alderman. George was predeceased by his sister, Rose Allen, and his parents, Alex and Myrtle Allen. A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the James Reid Funeral Home, Reception Centre, located at 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON K7M. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
