Douglas Yarwood

Douglas Yarwood passed away suddenly on August 25, 2026, at the age of 82. He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Lynn (Monique) and Beth Welles (the late Richard), along with his nephew, Wallace (Nathalie), and niece, Sara (Craig). As a cherished great-uncle, he will be greatly missed by Daniel, Ben, Ella, Jonathan, Thomas, and Owen, as well as by his many cousins. Doug was a dedicated member of the Carleton University community, serving for many years in the library. He had a passion for cars and the outdoors. A Celebration of Life will take place on September 10, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Celebration Centre of James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, ON. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Doug's honour.
