Bertha Margaret (Jackson) Tovey

Bertha Margaret (Jackson) Tovey, of Kingston, Ontario, passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on November 7, 1934, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Bertha was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Tovey, and her children: Steve, Cheryl, Cathy, Patsy Ikert (Stephen), Tanya Francom (Andrew), Debbie Bonselaar (Dick), and Kevin Tovey. She also mourned the loss of her son-in-law, Daniel Belleau, and her mother, Legion. Bertha is survived by her siblings, Frieda McPhee and Ken Jackson, along with nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Blair & Son Funeral Home, located at 15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 10:15 AM at St. John's Church, 38 Wilson St E, Perth, ON K7H1L6. In memory, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society.
