Maria KOLODZIEJSKI
Maria Kolodziejski passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, at the age of 100, at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton. Born on September 23, 1925, in Stachura, Poland to John and Marian (nee Robak) Stachura, Maria was predeceased by her husband Felix Kolodziejski. She is survived by her son Jan (Diane), granddaughter Kaththea (Sean), grandson Michael (Sylvia), great-granddaughters Kyela (Ollie), Julia (Spencer), Phoebe (Caleb), Mika and Mila, and great-grandson Liam (Sara), as well as her great-great-granddaughter Alice. Maria worked for 35 years at the Cotton Mill on Mary St. in Hamilton as a spinner. She and her late husband Felix were long-time parishioners of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church and original benefactors of the Dom Poliski Social Club in Hamilton. Visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street E., Hamilton, on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 3-7 p.m., with Rosary being offered at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington. The family would like to extend thanks to all staff at St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton for their kindness and compassion with Maria. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria's name to Hamilton Health Science, St. Peters Hospital.
