Johnetta Jane MARK

Johnetta Jane Mark passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, in her 88th year. She is reunited with her beloved husband, the late Edwin Mark. Johnetta is predeceased by her parents, Christopher and Josephine Marin; her first husband, Frank Liverpool; her daughter, Susan Liverpool; her son, Timothy Liverpool; and her siblings, Evelyn Marin, Mark Marin, Vincent Marin, Ivan Marin, Kenneth Marin, Trevor Marin, and Merle Joseph. She is survived by her dear son, Roger 'Billy' Liverpool, and grandchildren, Tyler Kaprusiak, Joseph Liverpool, Daniel Liverpool, and Mariah Liverpool. She will be missed by her siblings, Marjorie Williams, Moisalie Marin, Pearly Watson, Lennox Marin, and many relatives and friends in Canada, the U.S., and Trinidad. Visitation is at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, on Sunday, March 15, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home's chapel on Monday, March 16, at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Burlington. The family extends special thanks to the staff at Queen's Garden Long Term Care Residence for their exceptional care and compassionate support, and heartfelt gratitude to Johnetta's sister-in-law, Jenifer Alexander, and her trusted friend, Angela Dauda, for their support, companionship, and kindness.
