Valerie Swaisland of King City, Ontario, passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 70. She was loved and cherished by her parents, George Gosling and Margery Gosling; her children, Jackie (Manish), Kim (Nathan), and Mark (Lindsey); her grandchildren, Ellie, Luke, Elijah, Abhigail, Hudson, Caleb, Jude, and Owen; her siblings, Gretchen (Dick), Susan (Howard), and Rick; and her husband Bill Fitzgerald. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Toronto's Renascent House or the Canadian Cancer Society.
