RONALD JAMES COLES

Ronald James Coles passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 93. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Coles for 71 years. Loving father of Debra Coles and Kimberley Coles, he was also cherished Papa of Kyle, Taylor, Zachary, and Joshua, and a very proud Great-Papa to Colton. Ron is survived by his sister, Brenda Marshall, of St. Mary's. He was predeceased by his mother, Bertha M. Coles, and his father, Joseph H. Coles. Ron will be remembered for his love of life, his connections with family and friends, and his wonderful career as an aviation welder at De Havilland Aircraft. He retired in 1988 and went on to teach welding at King City Secondary Night School for ten years. Ron was an avid golfer and a member of the community in King City, where he and his wife Betty were actively involved and long-time residents.
