Melvin Gerlitz

The family of Melvin Gerlitz announces his passing on August 30, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on May 11, 1935, in Kenora, Ontario, Melvin was a cherished figure in the lives of many. He is survived by his daughters, Pam (Mike) and Cathy, along with his grandchildren, Colin (Whitney), Christine, Joelle (Jason), and Mitchell, as well as his great-grandchildren, Kayden, Rhett, Jack, Ava, and Piper. Melvin's legacy is one of love and connection, and he will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in Mel's honor.
