Gildred McKay

The family of Gildred McKay of Kenora, Ontario, announces his passing on August 30, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on November 20, 1948, Gildred is fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was predeceased by his parents, Archie and Laura McKay, as well as his siblings Gerald, Joanne, Danny (Lynn), Eugene, and Mary (John). Gildred is survived by his daughters, Réa (Jonas), Ashley, and Carly, along with his grandchildren Kassandra, Meaghan, Seth, Maddison, Emily, and Nathaniel. He is also survived by his siblings Margaret, Theresa, Gerry (Louise), Lewis (Shirley), Roger (Faye), Isabel (late Rheal), Alice (Donny), and Nancy (Paul).
