Teddy Douglas Coons

Teddy Douglas Coons of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on June 4, 1938. He is survived by his siblings Jimmy, Michael, Linda, Glenna and Larry, and by his children Wayne, Shelly and Sherry. He was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Dorthy Coons, his siblings Ernie, Dorthy, Barbara, Nellie, Billy, Johnny and Sharon, and his child Jamie. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, ON. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the same location, with burial at 3:00 p.m. at Eden Cemetery, 799 Cambray Road, Woodville, ON. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of the donor’s choice, either online or by cheque through Mackey Funeral Home.
