Lila Mable Coombs

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lila Mable Coombs of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, who departed this life on September 28, 2026, at the age of 92. Lila was born on June 1, 1934, to William and Luella Maughan. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Tompkins, and her children, Betty Thacker (Randy), Bonnie Fitzgerald (Craig), and Jeff Coombs (Keri). Lila also leaves behind her stepsons, Gord Coombs (Rhonda), Doug Coombs (Sharon), and Jim Coombs (Susan), as well as her siblings, Jessie Clarey (Dave), Mary Flanningan (Scotty), Margie Kidd (Walker), and Bruce Maughan. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, both at Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel St, Lindsay, ON K9V3L9. Memorial donations may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society of Kawartha Lakes.
