Kathleen Ann Gillowaychuk

The family of Kathleen Ann Gillowaychuk of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, announces her passing on September 28, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on July 25, 1946, Kathleen is fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was predeceased by her brother Timothy McGouran and her granddaughter Kelsey Cunningham. Kathleen is survived by her husband Ron, her children Ronald, Stephen (Tara), Cindy Heron (Alan), and Michelle (Steve Johnson), as well as her grandchildren Kaelynn Atkins, Emily Froggatt, Angela Mortimer (Matt Dyer), Tristan Cook, Hannah Gillowaychuk, and Charlotte Heron. She also leaves behind her siblings Tom McGouran (Evelyn), Bernie McGouran (Nancy), Maureen Woods (Phil), Mike McGourn (Fran), John McGouran (Sora), Bernadette May (Peter), Joan Ready (Paul), Annie McGouran, Margaret Harrison (Sam), and Mary Collins, along with her great grandchild Theo Froggatt. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 58 Pigeon Lake Rd, Kawartha Lakes, ON K9V4R4. The family kindly requests donations in Kathy's name to the Toronto Western Hospital's Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic Fund, which can be made online or by cheque through Mackey Funeral Home.
