Joan Marie Arnott

Joan Marie Arnott, of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 76. She was born on February 8, 1950. Joan was predeceased by her husband, Norman Arnott, as well as her brothers, Bob (Helen), Bert (Lorie), and George. She also mourned the loss of her parents, Ivan Staples and Doris Staples of Kirkfield, Ontario. Joan is survived by her sons, Donald (Sara) of Lindsay and Michael (Carolyn) of Airdrie, Alberta. She is also survived by her sisters, Janet (Shawn), Evelyn (Don), Nancy (Steve), and Bonnie (late Paul), along with her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mackey Funeral Home, located at 33 Peel St, Lindsay, ON K9V3L1. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the same location, with burial to take place from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery, 347 Lindsay St S, Lindsay, ON K9V4R4. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, either online or by cheque through the Mackey Funeral Home.
