Predeceased by her parents, Harry Nickerson and Margaret, her stepfather Amos Brannen, her sister Joyce Hamilton, and her brother‑in‑law Warren Hamilton, she is survived by her husband Harry Baxter; her children, David (with Margaret) and Peggy Mittelstadt (with Ken); her grandchildren, Andrew Baxter (with Émélie), Alyssa Baxter (with Harvinder Singh), Laura Mittelstadt (with Hadrien Bidaud), Scott Mittelstadt, Eric Mittelstadt and Kelsey Atkins (with Michael); and her great‑grandchildren Liam, Olivia, Lucas, Caleb, Cameron, Ryan, Alice, Louise and James.
