Verla Elizabeth HOGEWONING

Verla Elizabeth Hogewoning passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in her 87th year, at the age of 86. She was the loving wife of Theo, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. Verla is survived by her daughters Joyce Lee and Sharon Graham, and her four grandchildren Rebecca, Justin, Kayleigh, and Austin. She was predeceased by her parents Sidney and Sadie Reynolds. Verla is also survived by her sisters Ida Ritter, Eileen Kyle, and George Reynolds, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, June 11th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Tallman Funeral Homes. A funeral service will be held at Tallman Funeral Homes on Friday, June 12th, at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. In memory of Verla, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
