Gail Marilyn Bates

The family of Gail Marilyn Bates announces her passing on September 5, 2026. Born on March 24, 1942, Gail was a beloved member of her community in Innisfil, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Bates (Eddy), her child, Michele Bates, and her brother, Robert. Gail is survived by her children, Marilyn Panczuk (John) and Brian Bates (Madeline), along with her grandchildren, Tanya Panczuk, Justin Bates (Nikki), Tyler Panczuk (Allie), and Adam Bates. She is also survived by her sisters, Violet and Roseann. Visitation will take place at Innisfil Funeral Home on September 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on September 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow on September 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with a reception from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at St. Paul's Cemetery at 1:30 PM. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe.
