WARREN GREGORY WOOD

Warren Gregory Wood, also known as Greg, passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 78, in India. Born on October 11, 1947, Greg was an engineer trained at The University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. He was devoted to his work, believing that transportation is crucial for economic and social growth. Greg was born and raised on a farm outside Hamilton, Ontario, and was a true Canadian at heart. He enjoyed outdoor activities like skiing, canoeing, and camping, and was also skilled at building and fixing things. Greg was a curious and engaging individual who loved conversation, debate, and sharing his passions. He is survived by his wife, Thi Ngoc Be Tran; his eldest daughter, Sara Wood, son-in-law, Daniel Sadler, and their daughter, Adelaide; his younger daughter, Justine Brady, son-in-law, Scott Brady, and their children, Jackson, Blythe, and Rhys; and by his sister, Cheryl Thompson; and his brother, Shawn Wood, and their families. Private services will be held.
