SUZANNE VELMA HEARN

Suzanne Velma Hearn, of Huntsville, Ontario, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, at the age of 89, at Huntsville Hospice. Born on November 30, 1936, in Toronto, to Velma and Neil O'Donnell, Suzanne was a devoted mother to Katherine, Mary Pat, Christopher, Michael, Kevin, and Sean. She is also survived by her brother Neil O'Donnell, grandchildren Gwendolyn, Kayleigh, Maya, Lauren, and Havana, and great-grandchildren. Suzanne dedicated her life to family, kindness, and service to others, earning a B.A. in Psychology, B.A.Sc. in Nursing, and Masters in Education. She worked as Head Nurse at K-Wing at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, caring for Military Veterans, and later as a Public Health Nurse. Suzanne will be remembered for her wisdom, generosity, and thoughtfulness, and her love of music, often playing piano and ukulele. She was a constant supporter of education and lifelong learning, guiding her family and friends through difficult times with kindness and compassion.
