Els Jonkhout of Holland Landing, Ontario, passed away on June 26, 2026. She is survived by her spouse Giel Jonkhout, and her children, Jack, Phyllis Gendron, Jeff, Theo, Gary, Martin, Marge, and Paul. Els is also cherished by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skwarchuk Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, at 11:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Parish. In Els' memory, donations may be made to Sleeping Children Around the World.
