Richard Guertin of Hawkesbury, Ontario, passed away on July 26, 2026. He was predeceased by his parents, Lucien and Léona Guertin, his close friend Réjeanne Guérin, and his brother Marcel Guertin. He is survived by his sons Benoit (married to Julie), Patrick (married to Elena) and Steven (married to Aziza); his grandchildren Jérémy, Audrey, Mila, Ella, Zakariya, Ilyas, Kayani, Ghaniya, Hassan and Alwiya; his siblings Pierre, France and Anik Guertin; and Caroline Demers and Dominique Benoit, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Condolences may be offered beginning at 10 a.m. The family requests that donations in his memory be made to the Canadian Cancer Society using the provided donation form.
