Marilyn Anne MACLEOD

Marilyn Anne MacLeod passed away on June 28, 2026, just shy of her 88th birthday. Born in Hawkesbury, Ontario, she was the daughter of Gertrude and Edward MacLeod and the sister of Ronald, who have all predeceased her. Marilyn lived much of her life in Montreal, where she worked at Teleglobe Canada, and later moved to Peterborough. She enjoyed fashion, making her own clothes, and had a notable shoe collection. Marilyn also loved music and supported various charities, helping foster children and neglected animals. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Joan MacLeod, nephews Cameron, Jeffrey, and David, great nieces and nephews Ryan, Lindsey, Lauren, Luke, Christie, Benjamin, and Hannah, and her goddaughter, Janice Cruise. The family thanks the staff at St. Joseph's at Fleming for their care and the Nisbett Funeral Home for their services.
