Velma Violet (Owen) Fountain, of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on March 8, 1930, Velma was a cherished member of her family and community. She was predeceased by her parents, Art and Bertie Owen, and her husband, Jack. Velma is survived by her children, Pat (Dan), John, Thom (Martha), Don, Patrick, and Ellen. Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM, both at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, located at 322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. George's Anglican Church or The Welcome Inn Community Centre.
