Ugo Napoleone

Ugo Napoleone passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 91. He was the loving and devoted husband of the late Maria Napoleone (Belfiglio), dear father to Silvana Russo (Angelo) and Sandra Napoleone. He was also a loving Nonno to Alexandra Ruscica (Matthew), Anthony Russo (Danielle), and a cherished Bisnonno to Giordano and Adriano. Ugo was survived by his brother Aquilino Napoleone (Maria) and predeceased by his parents, Ottavio and Cesira Napoleone (DiPaolo); sister, Yolanda D'Urbano (Dionino); brothers, Biaggio Napoleone (Maria) and Santino Napoleone (Maria). Born in Manoppello, Pescara, Italy, Ugo immigrated to Canada with his wife Maria in 1960 and settled in Hamilton, Ontario. He had a celebrated career at Slater (Burlington) Steel and retired after 30 years of service. Ugo will be remembered for his kind and respectful nature, his love for his family and friends, and his many hobbies, including bocce, soccer, playing cards, and hunting. He also had a great love for pizzelle and ice cream. Ugo resided at Del Manor Aurora, where he was loved by the staff and many of the residents. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Habib, the nursing team, personal care workers, catering team, and the entire staff at Del Manor for their support and kindness.
