Therese Marie Lapointe

Therese Marie Lapointe of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on December 6, 1928, she cherished her life among family, friends, and her community. Therese was predeceased by her husband, Roland Lapointe, and her siblings: Omer, Jean Paul, Germaine, Georgette, Jacques, Rolande, Annette, Louise, Bernard, and Andre. She is survived by her son, Dennis Lapointe; her daughter-in-law, Jane Hammink; and her grandsons, Michael Lapointe (Kim Lapointe) and Curtis Lapointe (Trevor Swan). Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, located at 796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4. A funeral service will follow on the same day from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice.
