Sylvia Gouthro

Sylvia Gouthro of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on January 6, 1934, she is remembered by her family and friends. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband, Leo Gouthro, as well as her parents, James Weatherbie and Sadie Weatherbie. She is survived by her children, Sharon, John Geoghegan, Dave, Greta Fuentes Gouthro, Allan, and Colleen Gouthro; her grandchildren, Curtis, Carrie, Justin, Christine, Steven, and Eric; and her great-grandchildren, Noel, Abby, and Ava. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Lawrence Weatherbie, her sister-in-law, Rhoda Weatherbie, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cresmount Funeral Home, located at 322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A 1T2.
