Steve Gunjilac

Steve Gunjilac, born on March 19, 1938, passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 88. He is survived by his children, Steve Gunjilac Jr. (Darinka) and Mira Domjancic. Steve was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, as well as his grandchildren, Nicholas, Adam (Ivona), and Stefanie (Blake), and his great-grandchildren, Anabel and Nikolas. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, located at 1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V9, followed by burial at 735 ON-8, Troy, ON L0R1X0. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shalom Village Hamilton care facility.
