Shirley HAYNES

Shirley Haynes passed away peacefully in Mississauga on July 12, 2026, at the age of 89. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Jerry, having joined him on their 68th wedding anniversary. Shirley is survived by her devoted daughters, Dana Haynes and Jodi Baginski, and her husband Mike, as well as her grandchildren, Brendan and Meghan. She was predeceased by her sister Joan. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her nephews, extended family, and friends. Throughout her life, Shirley's primary focus was her family, first as a dedicated stay-at-home mother and later as a devoted grandmother and babysitter. Following her retirement from working in women's clothing stores, she dedicated her time to her grandchildren. A visitation to celebrate Shirley's life will be held at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home on July 16, 2026, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Parkinson Canada.
