Shirley Burgess

Shirley Burgess peacefully passed away on February 12, 2026, at St. Joseph's Villa surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Hugh. Shirley was a loving mother to Kim and Craig (Donna), cherished Gammie to Chris (Karen), Trevor (Corry), Allyson, Keith, and Taylor (Jessica), and beloved Great Gammie to Andrew (Kaitlynn), Nolan, Keira, and Prudence. She will be sadly missed by her great great grandchildren Gavin and Ezmay, as well as her very special cousin Evelyn. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Myrtle Taylor; brothers, Ross and Richard; great-granddaughter, Piper; and special friend, Randy Gill. She will be fondly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family has asked to consider donations to the Alzheimer's Society or St. Joseph's Villa in her memory.
