Ruth Green

The family announces the passing of Ruth Green on September 8, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on May 3, 1947, in Hamilton, Ontario, Ruth was a cherished presence in the lives of her family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, James Cassidy and Bertha Cassidy. Ruth is survived by her son, Robert Aaron Green, and his wife, Rachel Jardine-Green, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Alexa, Austin, and Aidan Green. She is also survived by her brother, James Cassidy, and sister-in-law, Jo Cassidy. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on September 11, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, followed by a funeral service from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM, and a reception from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, all at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
