Robert Joseph Aubin

Robert Joseph Aubin passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on July 28, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Rene and Georgette Aubin. Robert was predeceased by his wife Winnifred, whom he married on July 29, 1967, and with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughter Heidi Aubin-Lee, stepdaughter Cloverlyn Grant, and grandchildren Isaiah, Debbie, Sharon, Catherine, Roxine, Corey, and Carey. Robert was also predeceased by his grandson John-Paul, siblings Jacqueline and Victor, and is remembered by his sister-in-law Florence and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A longtime resident of Hamilton, Ontario, Robert served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and later worked as a glazier and security guard. He was a dedicated member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades and volunteered at Macassa Lodge. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cresmount Funeral Home.
