Richard Allan Smith (Rick)

Richard Allan Smith, a devoted father and loyal friend, passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 60. He was a proud and dedicated leader, serving as President of the International Longshoremen's Association Local 1654 from 2002 until his passing. Richard also held various leadership roles, including Vice President of the GLDC, and was known for his integrity, commitment, and sense of responsibility. He will be remembered by his loving family, including his son, Jimmy Blacklocksmith, and his daughter, Jessica Smith, as well as his brothers, sister, cousins, aunts, and uncles. A celebration of Richard's life will be held at a later date.
