Renzo Della Mora
Renzo Della Mora passed away on February 26, 2026, in his 93rd year. He was a man of immense warmth, known for his infectious humour, friendly spirit, and affectionate nature. Born in Italy, Renzo worked on a farm before immigrating to Canada in 1957. He worked as a bricklayer, sharing his craftsmanship generously, also building fireplaces and porches for those he loved. After marrying in 1963, he settled in Hamilton and worked at Firestone until his retirement. Renzo's life was defined by the love he gave and received. He shared 34 beautiful years with his first wife, the late Mary (nee D'Agostin), and was the adored father of Judy and Elizabeth (Peter). He was later blessed with 12 wonderful years with his second wife, the late Phyllis (nee Taylor), becoming a proud stepfather to Tom (Kathleen) Bachelder and a cherished Nonno to Taylor and Kiana. In his later years, he was fortunate to share his life and companionship with his close friend, Louise Canjar. Renzo is reunited in heaven with his parents, Giuseppe and Elvira; and his brother, Mario (Mercedes). He is deeply missed by his brothers, Ado (Mirella) and Nello (the late Laura), and many nieces, nephews, and his dear circle of family and friends. Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St. E. Hamilton, On) on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
