Phyllis Pauline Bendig

Phyllis Pauline Bendig passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 85. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Carrie (Michael), Duane, and Tracey. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jordan (James), Jacob, Devon, and Chantelle Raven. She is also remembered by her former husband, Wayne, with whom she had recently reconnected. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Phyllis and Herman, and siblings Brent and Darlene. She will be dearly missed by her remaining siblings: Carol, Grant, Janine, Paul, and Scott; extended family; and many friends. Phyllis had a deep love of music and theatre, passions that brought her great happiness throughout her life. She dedicated over 20 years to Habitat for Humanity, giving her time and energy to help others and strengthen her community. Having lived many years in Montreal, she formed lasting friendships and leaves behind many cherished friends there who will remember her fondly. A warm and heartfelt thank you goes to the staff and volunteers at St. Peter's Hospital who took wonderful care of her. She is being cremated with private family arrangements.
