Nettie KIKIC

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nettie Kikic (neé McNeil) at the age of 83 on September 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Nettie is now reunited with her beloved husband, Jake. She was a devoted mother to Mary-Ann (Monty) and Peter (Ana), and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to Jesse, Joshua (Laurie), Mitchell (Chatrina), Anthony, Benjamin, Bonnie, Luna, and Maeve. Nettie will be missed by her sisters Diana and Shirley, and is predeceased by her parents, Alex and Mary McNeil, as well as her sisters Helen, Rose, Mae, and Louisa, and brothers-in-law Harry, Frank, Merrold, Lloyd, Bernie, and Earl. She was also predeceased by her parents-in-law, Petar and Amalija Kikic. Aunt Net will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family expresses gratitude to the staff at The Village of Wentworth Heights and Extendicare Hamilton. Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton, on Thursday, September 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service celebrating her life will take place in the Cresmount Chapel on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., followed by burial at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Mud Street, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
