Meropi "Mary" Tsenikidis

Meropi (Mary) Tsenikidis died peacefully on August 17, 2026, at Victoria Gardens Long Term Care Home, aged 78. She was born on January 2, 1948, in Stafanovouno, Larissa, Greece, to Aristos and Nazlou Ioannidou. In 1965 she married Efstathios (Steve) Tsenikidis, and together they raised a family rooted in faith and community. She was a devoted grandmother to Eleftheria, Elias and Dimitra, and was cherished by her brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Meropi enjoyed gardening, cooking and volunteering, and was remembered for her generosity and sense of humor. Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, ON, on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Panagia Greek Orthodox Church, 233 East 15th St, Hamilton, ON, on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11 a.m., followed by burial at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, 260 Rymal Rd East, Hamilton, ON. The family thanks the staff of Victoria Gardens Long Term Care Home for their care and requests donations to Panagia Greek Orthodox Church in lieu of flowers.
