Maureen Elizabeth Bigelow

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Maureen Elizabeth Bigelow, who resided in Hamilton, Ontario. Maureen was born on July 19, 1940, and she departed this life on October 18, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter Lindsay and Bretta Lindsay; her husband, Edward Bigelow; her daughter, Lorri Bigelow; and her brothers, Peter and Bob Lindsay (Sharron). Maureen is survived by her children, Rick (Chris), Lynette (Adrian), and Ron (Shannon); her grandchildren, Lindsay, Jessica (Nathan), Rachel (Reed), Luke (Cassy), Nicole (Brandon), Nathan (Rachel), Julian, Quinten, Cloey, Catelyn (Bray), and Clay; and her great-grandchildren, Curtis, Leonardo, Theodore, Rose, Sullivan, Violet, Julia, Coen, Benjamin, and Oliver. She is also survived by her brothers, Bill Lindsay (Carol) and Jamie Desveaux; her sister-in-law, Beverly Lindsay; and her son-in-law, Dan Bosher. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, located at 322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM at the same location. The family requests that donations be made to Parkinson Canada or to a charity of your choice.
