Maureen CAPPELLI
Maureen Cappelli passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on October 2, 1944, she built a life centered on the people she loved. She was the devoted wife and partner to her husband, Vincent Cappelli, with whom she shared the joys of a long, meaningful marriage. As a mother to Katherine and David Cappelli, she provided a foundation of warmth and support that will remain with them forever. Her role as 'Grandma' was perhaps one of her favorites; she was the adoring and proud grandmother of Abigayle and Aliyah Cappelli, who were truly the lights of her life, and maintained a love for their mother, Michelle. Maureen was a pillar within her extended family and leaves behind a legacy of deep-rooted connections. She was predeceased by her brothers, Robert (Joanne) and William (Janet) Robinson, and is survived by her dear in-laws, Evelyn Cappelli, Eva (Basil) Trace, and Frank Cappelli. Her memory will also be cherished by her nieces and nephews—Paul, Christopher, Sarah, Michael, and Jill—all of whom held a special place in her heart. Beyond her immediate kin, Maureen's life was defined by a rare and beautiful 'chosen family.' She found enduring strength and joy in her lifelong friendship with Sandy Langton and her husband, Wayne. Maureen will be remembered for her devotion to those she held dear and the steady, comforting presence she maintained in the lives of so many.
