Marijka "Mary" (née Lebedowycz) GOIT

Marijka 'Mary' Goit, née Lebedowycz, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton. She was the loving wife of Ken Goit for 44 years and mother of Jeff and David. Mary is predeceased by her brother Steve and parents Peter and Ann Lebedowcyz. She is survived by her nieces and nephew Patty, Sandy, Michael, Kristen, Leslee, and Jayme, as well as many friends. Mary worked as a law clerk at the law office of Smith and Smith for over 50 years. She will be remembered for her time with family and friends at the cottage and on her pontoon boat. A visitation will be held at Markey-Dermody Funeral Home on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
