Maria Teresa Visocchi

The family announces the passing of Maria Teresa Visocchi in Hamilton, Ontario, on October 21, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on September 11, 1940, Maria was loved and cherished by many. She is survived by her parents, Antionietta D'onofrio and Gino D'onofrio; her brother, Romano D'onofrio; her husband, Gerardo Mario 'Jerry' Visocchi; her daughters, Gina Lippa (Joseph Fazari), Lucia Visocchi, and Maryanne Visocchi; her grandchildren, Angelie, Joseph, and Santina (Tyler); her nieces, Tammy D'onofrio and Kirston Visocchi; her nephew, Matthew D'onofrio (Brooke); and Regan. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, located at 322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lord Parish, 280 Limeridge Rd W, Hamilton, ON L9C2V2. Following the Mass, an entombment will occur at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, 600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer Society Foundation of Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk, Hamilton, and Halton.
