Maria Scibetta

Maria Scibetta of Hamilton, Ontario, passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on April 10, 1931, she was a beloved member of her family and community. Maria was predeceased by her husband, Calogero Scibetta, her parents, Carmelo and Concetta Ippolito, and several siblings and in-laws. She is survived by her children, Lillian (John), Tina (James), and Charles (Lorena), along with her grandchildren, Charlene (David), Lauren (Robert), James, Charly, Luke, Christian, Julian, Marcello, Domenica, Anthony, Tiana, and Frederick. Maria also leaves behind her parents-in-law, Calogero and Calogera Scibetta, and sisters-in-law, Vincenza Polizzi and Maria Pietrantoni, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will take place on October 8, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on October 9, 2026, at St. Ann's Parish, followed by entombment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
