Maria SAVEGNAGO

Maria Savegnago passed away on May 31, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on December 23, 1930, in Valdagno, Italy, she immigrated to Canada in 1956 with her husband. She was the beloved wife of Rino, predeceased in 1998. Maria is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sonia Agnew (Ron), her grandchildren, Brandon and Katie (Trevor Nagy), and her great-grandchild, Florence. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, located at 796 Upper Gage Ave, on Wednesday, June 3rd, from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Thursday, June 4th, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Assistance Program would be greatly appreciated if so desired.
