Maria (née Traina) SBRISSA
Maria Sbrissa (née Traina) passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at the age of 92, at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 6, 1933, in Racalmuto, Italy. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Sbrissa. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Clara Ruggiero and son-in-law, Cesare, and to her late daughter, Anna Mannara. Maria was a proud and devoted Nonna to Daniela and her husband Hsuan-Kai, Stefany, Anthony, and Alex, and a cherished bisnonna to Luca. She has been reunited with her late brother-in-law, Lorenzo Daddato and is survived by her sister, Lena Daddato, along with her brothers, Michele Traina and his wife Anna, and Frank Traina and his wife Laura; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses, staff, and volunteers at St. Peter's Hospital. Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of All Souls Church on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 10 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
