Maria Lidia JANICAS

Maria Lidia Janicas passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family at St. Joseph's Hospital. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Joao. Maria is survived by her loving daughter, Marie Celeste, and cherished grandchildren, Robert, Alicia, and Andrea. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends in Canada and Portugal. Visitation will be held at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Ancaster. Maria was predeceased by her husband, Joao.
